Default SSMS & OfflineMode? - 09-12-2008 , 11:48 AM

I'm trying to copy data from a local database to a remote database via
tasks->Import Data. However the execution fails with the message:

The connection manager "DestinationConnection" will not acquire a
connection because the package OfflineMode property is TRUE...

In addition - my remote database (shown in SSMS's ObjectExploer)
doesn't have the little green running icon - it has an empty circle
icon instead. I know it's running, integration services is running on
both, and sql agent is running on both.

I've googled around for why it says this but haven't found an anwer
yet..

Thanks in advance
Tim

I ran into issue similar to do this because the Server Refused to run the
application in Administrator mode for me.

But that was Windows 2008 server; so maybe it is similar issue for you...
