We need to run some performance testing on a SQL Cluster to determine the
best HBA Queue Depth. We are going to use the SQLIOSim tool. I am not
familiar with this tool. How long does it take to run for each
configuration? We want to base line at 32 then bump it to 64 then to 128 to
see what the results are. I have been reading documentation and blogs on the
subject (Microsoft document on Best practices for HBA Queue Length as well as
Kevin Kline, Jack Sack and Christian Bolton's blogs). I see where the use
the tool to do this benchmarking but cannot find any specifics on how long it
takes each instance of the test to run.

I need to be able to schedule downtime from the developers to do the test.
