Default SQL profiler - 07-03-2003 , 05:04 AM

How do you get to use SQL profiler. Is there a
seperate .exe that you have to run to get it to work?

When I click on it it says "profiler.exe is not a valid
win 32 application"

Hi ,

I can double click on the profiler.exe to launch the app without problem.
I am assuming you are running that from C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\80\Tools\Binn?

Perhaps your .exe file is corrupt for some reason?

Sincerely,

Profiler.exe is the SQL Profiler executable.
Please verify that it exists in <your SQL Server installation
folder>\80\Tools\Binn folder. If it is not there, I suggest reinstalling SQL
Server Client Tools.
