Hi Marc,

I think you need to reinstall the client tools and re-service pack.

Hello,

i have some massive problems using the enterprise manager
on a sql2000 sp3 machine, which is installed on a windows
2000 sp3 server.

I can open up the Enterprise Manager without any problems,
but if i try to look at the properties of the Server in
Server Groups, the Properties Dialog does not open.

OR:

if i try to change properties for sql agent, the following
error message appears:

Microsoft SQL-DMO (ODBC SQLState:42000)

Error 22002: RegCreateKeyEx() returned error 5, 'Acess is
denied'.

I allready checked the permission on the registry, the
Domain-SQL Service Account is in the local group of the
Administrators, which have full access permission on the
registry, and additionaly i put the service account with
full xs permission into the registry security options.

Do you have any suggestions? This would be really helpful.

Thank you!

Regards,

Marc
