I had sql server 2005 std installed on server A and wanted to describe a maint plan that included backup etc for sql server 2005 express databases on server b. My first efforts failed with an error at the very end of the wizard, and my research led me to believe that installing sp2 for sql 2005 would fix that error. But now I can't seem to create a maint plan for any sql server other than the one I just installed on server a. I'm able to connect to the sql server installation on server b, but nowhere in the wizard is there an option to choose which sql server instance to use, only which db to include in the plan. Can anyone tell me what's going on with this? Hope this is the right forum to post this too? Can someone comment on this? |
