Default Network share as accessable location for backup restore - 01-21-2009 , 03:49 AM

Good morning

My sql installation only shows the local C drive and D drive as locations
to pick a backup file for a restore from.

I need to restore from a network share //nas/live/live.bak

How do I go about making this location visable?

My sql is not a cluster and its sqlserver 2005

Thanks

Type the path. Also the service account for the SQL Server service
need appropriate permissions on the share/file.
