Default Maintenance and Impersonation? - 06-18-2008 , 11:40 PM

My SQL Server Agent service runs under a domain account on a member
server to do most of its work. Currently there is a maintenance plan
step to save a full backup to a local disk.

There is a new need for the server to copy the full backup .bak file
to a UNC location in a different domain. This remote server requires a
specific name/password, different from the account that the Agent
Service uses.

How can I create an impersonation step in my plan to connect to the
remote server as a different Windows user and copy the file?

Thanks.

Assuming SQL Server 2005: Read about"credentials" and SQL Server Agent Proxies in Books Online.
