Default Intellisense for SQL Server Management Studio - 06-05-2008 , 01:59 PM

Do we have any free Intellisense for SSMS? I know of red gate's SQL Prompt,
for which we have to pay

It's for free for SQL Server 2008' s SSMS.

However, there is no backward compatibility support for SQL Server 2000 and
2005 instances at least for now. It's being supported only for SQL Server
2008 instances now.

However some people are lobbying for a backward compatibility at least for
SQL Server 2005 instances. Who knows, maybe it works and SQL Server Team (or
whoever) agrees this is logical and they make SQL Server 2008' s SSMS
support 2005 instances for Intellisense.
