SQL 2k sp4

Is there any way to retrieve a forgotten password for a SQL Login account?

You could reset it by logging in as a sysadmin and using sp_password. I
don't know of any way to retrieve it.

Thanks Aaron. I can't afford to reset it as a lot of DTS packages use it
and it would take a long time to update all of those packages.

Your cost of doing so does not magically make an easier answer appear.

On the plus side, it's probably something you'll only have to do once (e.g.
you won't forget the password next time).
