Default Fonts and Colors items are not well documented - 05-12-2008 , 12:57 PM

I have submitted the following as a Feedback item in the SQL 2008 Books
On-Line. In case anyone is interested, or if it's already documented
somewhere and I just don't see it, please tell me:

In Tools/Options/Fonts and Colors, when we select "Text Editor" under
"Show settings for:", there is a huge list of things under "Display
Items".

WHERE is it documented, what each of these "Display Items" controls?
For example, there is an item called "Error" and another item called
"Error Message". "Error" shows up with a strike-through in the
"Sample" box, while "Error Message" does not.

I have never seen anything with a strike through, so I don't know what
the font settings for "Error" is actually going to affect.

Under the assumption that everything should be documented, we shouldn't
have to guess what each of the "Display Items" actually refers to. They
are not obvious, especially when there are similarly-named items in the
list.

Similarly, what does the "Warning Lines Path" item in the list mean, and
where can I find this in the documentation? What does "Current List
Location" mean?

If this is already documented somewhere, please point it out to me (and
add it to the page that I referenced here).

Thanks.

Would you mind sharing the link, so that we can vote on it?

I guess that part of the problem is that "Text editor" can be SQL,
MDX and probably a few more things. But that does not really excuse
having "Error" and "Error message" without a clue of what is what.
