Default Date Format on SSMS 2008 - 10-26-2009 , 10:38 AM

Any idea on how to default the date fields display to mm/dd/yyyy format in
SQL Server Management Studio 2008. This used to be working fine in SQL 2000
and SQL 2005.

I know that Query Analyzer has a setting to respect regional settings,
but I cannot recall having seen any such setting for neither SSMS 2005
nor SSMS 2008.

If you want this behaviour, you can use QA also against SQL 2008. At work,
I still use QA, although of other reasons that the date format - I'm
perfectly happy with YYYY-MM-DD.
