product team's confirmation on this issue by now. I will try to follow up

In addition, since this issue seems to be a by design issue, I also
recommend that you give Microsoft feedback via
https://connect.microsoft.com/visualstudio so that your voice can be heard
by our product team directly. You will be able to get their email
notification directly when they respond to you.
