Default Collation type - 05-21-2009 , 07:21 PM

I'm trying to change the collation type of the master database to
SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS using RebuildM.exe . I don't see this collation
in the drop down list box. I'm using SQL Server 2000 SP2.

Is there a way I can select the collation I require from rebuildm.exe?

First make sure that you check the radio button which reads "SQL Collations"
on the bottom half of the screen. In the list box, select "Dictionary order,
case-insensitive, for use with 1252 Character set".

Next, download and install SP4 of SQL 2000. If you only have SP2 you are
a potential victim of the slammer worm.
