SP2 is installed in this instance of SQL Server 2005.

What version is the SQL Server 2005 instance that you connected to? I
believe that you will have problems editing maintenance plans on versions
less than SP2.

I registered a SQL Server 2005 in SQL Server Management Studio 2008. I see
the Maintenance Plans for the 2005 Server but cannot display or modify
them.
The context menu is available but selecting Modify simply does nothing.
The
right pane remains empty - no message at all.
Any ideas are appreciated.
TIA, Norbert Meiss
