I have a DB that was put on a temporary server, which has SQL2005. I need to transfer the DB back, but the original server is SQL2000 SP2. I found a posting on another forum / newsgroup that seems to indicate that the Microsoft SQL Server Database Publishing Wizard might work for this. I realize that the SQL 2000 is behind a few service packs, and would likely need to be updated, as well, this is not an issue. Basicly, my question is, will this work? Will I be able to run this utility, to move the DB, its associated views, etc, back to the SQL 2000 server? |
