Default Bad performance in Management Studio 2008 - 04-23-2010 , 07:43 AM





Hi!
I just moved my development environment to a new laptop (i7 2.66 GHz, 8Gb
mem) in Windows 7 Pro x64.
A simple query in SSMS now takes minutes instead of a few seconds. And the
ssms eats memory during the execution.
Exemple:
SELECT TOP 100 * FROM ORDR
Takes 41 seconds and ssms process increase allocated memory from 43 Mb to
555 Mb.

What is wrong?
