2005 BPA fails to scan. It is installed on a Windows 2003 SP2 server. Click
"Select options fo a new scan" and choose "Computer name". Type anything in
the "Computer Name" box and then click "List SQL Server Components". The
following error appears:

"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click
COntinue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If
you click Quit, the application will close immediately. Object reference not
set to an instance of an object."

We also get this error if you use the option to scan for an instance instead
of a computer name.

..Net Framework 2.0 SP1 is installed and the Remote Registry and WMI services
are both started.

Any ideas what is causing this error and how to fix it?
