Hello
I am trying to install SQL server 2000 Standard Edition on the Windows 2000
SP2 operating system.
When I start to install I get the message "Microsoft SQL Server 2000
standard edition server components are not supported in this operating
system. Only client components will be installed".
Another PC already has SQL server 2000 Standard Edition installed in Windows
2000 operating system with no problems.
Does anyone know how to get around this problem?

Are you trying to install SQL Server 2000 Standard Edition on Windows 2000
Professional? If that's the case, I don't think that's supported. See here:
