Hi Richard
If you are upgrading from SQL Server 2000 to 2005, I believe you don't need
to do SKUUPGRADE = 1 option. That's for upgrading from one edition (not
version) of SQL Server 2005 to another. For example from SQL Server Standard
Edition 2005 to SQL Server Enterprise Edition 2005.
If you want to upgrade from SQL Server 2000 to 2005 using command line, I
would suggest reading on the following article from TechNet (particularly the
section on Upgrade a SQL Server instance to SQL Server 2005).
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l...9(SQL.90).aspx
Thank you

I don't even know where to begin figuring out why it did not upgrade even
though the installer appeared to run successfully.
(I did run from cmd line with "setup SKUUPGRADE=1")
