That does not seem like a good idea. Else I would suspect bad media or a bad download. -- Erland Sommarskog, SQL Server MVP, esquel (AT) sommarskog (DOT) se Links for SQL Server Books Online: SQL 2008: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/sqlserver/cc514207.aspx SQL 2005: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/sqlserver/bb895970.aspx SQL 2000: http://www.microsoft.com/sql/prodinf...ons/books.mspx . |

I downloaded the 'en_sql_server_2008_standard_x86_x64_dvd_x14-89155.iso' file again and checked CRC of this file with crc305.exe and the file seems to be OK. Then, I extracted all the files from this ISO image using the 7z archiver. The problem is still the same. |

Maybe you should try buring the image to a blank DVD? -- Erland Sommarskog, SQL Server MVP, esquel (AT) sommarskog (DOT) se Links for SQL Server Books Online: SQL 2008: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/sqlserver/cc514207.aspx SQL 2005: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/sqlserver/bb895970.aspx SQL 2000: http://www.microsoft.com/sql/prodinf...ons/books.mspx . |
