When I run the setup and choose new installation, I get this error during the "Setup Support Files" process (ExecuteStandardTimingsWorkflow). Could not open key: UNKNOWN\Components\43C313DB6EBAD154F901C6B5BFA69F0 6\C2BF01D69A282F04190DB76EC40FAD2F. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel. I previously had SQL Server 2008 R1 developer edition installed. During the upgrade it indicated that it could not update ReportServices as it was having troubled communicating to the database. I attempted to uninstall the SQL Server components, and had problems with uninstall, and went through some manual steps. Looks like I did not completing remove SQL Server 2008 R1. |

I am having the same issue - I had the November CTP installed and it wouldn't uninstall so I ended up deleting files and trying to clean out registry, but to no avail. Would like to know how to clean up from previous beta's... I am having the same problem. Could you tell me what I have to do to clean up the previous beta (64 bit)? Cleaned out the registry and deleted all files in programs but still the installation stops when executing the ExecuteStandardTimingsWorkflow step. Funnywhise the 32 bit version can be installed... |
