I apologize for my frustration showing, but... After nearly 3 weeks, I have not had a reply to a previous post - this statement needs upadting: "Post your technical questions in MSDN Forums to receive a response from a Microsoft engineer within 2 business days if the community hasn't already gotten you the answer." I have had to reinstall OS & all software on development box after a HD crash, but cannot get SSIS to work as before. My setup: XP Pro Sp3 Visual Studio 2005 & 2008 SQL Server 2005 Standard with Integration Services SQL Server Integration Services service is running, but I cannot run a SSIS package. There's no file association to .dtsx files and VS 2005 does not recognize .dtproj files to do so in debug mode. I have gone through the great pain of un & re-installing SQL Server 2005 (and thus SSIS) to no avail. I ran out of time to waste guessing the correct order of events and dependencies a couple of weeks ago, and had hoped the previous post would eventually lead to some guidance so I could take up the matter again. This post serves as that hope's last gasp. |
