I cannot run the SQL Server setup.exe.
The error is "The SQL Server System Configurtion Checker cannot be executed
due to WMI configuration on the machine JROUGH Error:2147942526 ()x8007007e."
I am installing it on Windows XP Pro. I would like to know the cause of
this error if possible.
If it is a memory problem or becuase it needs Windows XP Professional? Any
ideas?
I'm running this on Parallels on a Mac Virtual Machine. I am wondering if I
install it on Bootcamp it would work better.

I AM GOIng to ask this question in SQL Server MDSE. I tried to start Windows
Management Instrumentations and it said the module could not be found. So I
need to find this missing module.
