Hello,

I'm trying to set up SQLMail on on a SQL2K (SP4) instance hosted on a Win2K3
(SP1) server. We're utilizing a managed Exchange 2K3 account from
123together.com for email services. I've set up the Mail profile and can
successfully connect via Outlook 2003 installed on the server, and I can test
SQLMail via the support node option in EM, but that's as far as it goes.

I tried to assign the same Mail profile to SQLServerAgent and I get a MAPI
Logon Failed error. I also tried using the xp_startmail sp, both without
params and with the profile name and password for the account with no
success, getting an 0x8004011d error. I've tinkered with trying to get the
password to be saved in Outlook to no avail (including using the control
keymgr.dll utility and deleting the user subkey under Microsoft Protected
Storage (gets recreated after reboot)). The only other thing of note is that
the connectivty to the Exchange account is via RPC/HTTP and not MAPI or VPN.

Any assistance than can be provided would be deeply apprecatied.
