Default SQL2k Upgraded Incorrectly - 07-03-2003 , 10:53 AM

We upgraded our SQL7 to sql2k over a month ago. It upgraded without
problem.

There have been some issues, none of which has affected our daily
business. While investigating to try to resolve some of the issues, I
discovered that in add/remove programs, it shows sql7 AND sql2k, both as
being used that day. And the sql7 size reported is HUGE.

So I check in services. There is only one mssqlserver. In fact anywhere
I check, I am running sql2k.

I assume that if I remove the sql7, it will kill sql on that box. And I
am guessing that I will have to remove all SQL and reinstall.

Anyone have any other ideas?
TIA
Karen
