Default SQL Mirroring running on Windows Server 2008 Standard OS Possible? - 12-09-2009 , 09:43 AM

Hi,

With Active/Passive failover clustering, the base OS must be Windows Server
2008 Enterprise (for the clustering aspect).

What about SQL Server 2008 Standard Mirroring? Does this also need Windows
Server 2008 Enterprise as the base OS or can it be Windows Server 2008
Standard?

Thanks

DB mirroring can even run on WinXP. :-)
