Hi,

I am trying to install SQL 6.5.
However, the installation setup of the SQL program is not
progressing. In the MSSQL Server 6.5 Setup screen, the
installation seems to be stuck with this window
message "Setup is now installing the initial SQL Server
configuration..." and the system seems to be idling for a
very long time.

I have installed Windows NT Version 4.0 (with Service Pack
4). I have waited 24 hours for the installation but
logically...I suppose that the installation should'nt be
this long...

I have tried several SQL 6.5 installation CD but I am down-
on-luck..
Please help.
Any advice will be welcome...many thanks.
