I have a problem with a SQL 2008 standard x64 german Installation. The
Installation runs on an error with the message "Error by the start
demand of the SQLBrowser service". I hope this ist the right
translation because I got in german(German error message "Fehler bei
der Startanforderung für den Dienst 'SQLBrowser").

I got this problem on a fresh installed Windows 2003 R2 standard x64
server.

Does anybody has an idea to my problem?

It sounds like your SQL Server Browser service is getting an error when it
tries to start.

this moment I can try it again but the error message comes again and
again. So I must cancel the SQL 2008 installation at this point. After
the installations ends I do not see the service under SQL Server
Configuration Manager, only the Integration Services Service stands
there.
