WinXP Pro SP3 all MS updates
SQL 2005 SP3 update failed installation
VMWare session, fwiw...
Continually receiving error code 0x737D on attempted SP3 update request.
Have tried to follow MS's update guidance but always see that the "Pending
Reboot Requirement" in the needs to be met in the SQL Server 2005 Setup
window even though I've rebooted 6-10 times.
Not sure what to do at this point.
Guidance/assistance appreciated! |
Have you looked in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Session Manager
for the key PendingFileRenameOperations? Deleting this key may resolve
the issue.
