I am trying to install SQL 2005 Express on an XP w/SP3 Add/Remove programs
says that I have MSXML 6.0 Service Pack 2

During the SQL 2005 Express install I get the following message in the log:
Windows Installer reconfigured the product. Product Name: MSXML 6 Service
Pack 2 (KB954459). Product Version: 6.20.1099.0. Product Language: 1033.
Reconfiguration success or error status: 1603.

I have gone to Add/Remove programs and tried to uninstall MSXML 6 and get
Fatal error during installation.

I have tried repair and I get "The feature your are trying to use is on the
network is unavailable. - -Note that the Use source is pointing to a guid
name on the root of my C: drive c:\af4429c96e68acb5bc3710df03e7dd48\

I have tried to reinstall using msxml6-KB954459-enu-x86.exe That failed

I have tried Window Installer Cleanup-msicuu2.exe It did nothing and didn't
give me an option to select MSXLM 6.0

I need help! any ideas to correct this problem for SQL 2005 Express and
MSXML 6?
