Default Set up second instance - 01-17-2010 , 02:26 AM

Could you please advise me how to set up a second instance of SQL Server
2005 ?
I have a new installation of Small Business Server 2008 R2, which already
uses SQL 2005 for it's sharepoint database I think.
I would like a second instance for use with my web site, and I do not want
it to interfere with the SBS instance.
Could you please provide a link to instructions, or if these do not exist,
please provide the basic procedure steps.
Thanks very much.

Just run SQL Server Setup, and select to install a new instance. You should
probably only select Database Engine, and not include Analysis Services
and Reporting Services.

Don't forget to apply the latest service pack after the install!
