Hi

Have a Microsoft Windows 2000 Member Server offsite with an installation
of MSDE 2000.

Would like to change the Server Computer Name with minimum of fuss. ie
not have to backup data & reinstall MSDE.

When the computer name is changed, MSDE does not start as cannot find
instance.

Is there an ini file or registry keys that can be changed to point to
the renamed computer?
