Great, but when I try to install it, I get the error message "The Enterprise Edition server component cannot be installed on Windows NT Server using this CD. Only client components will be available for installation". I tried running WINNTUP.exe from the 4.0 Enterprise CD but I don't think it works for 2K. I am running 2K server SP3. Thanks. -----Original Message----- It can but you will only be able to use 4 proces and 4GB of ram. http://www.support.microsoft.com/?id=314546 Moving DB's between Servers http://www.support.microsoft.com/?id=224071 Moving SQL Server Databases to a New Location with Detach/Attach http://support.microsoft.com/?id=221465 Using WITH MOVE in a Restore http://www.support.microsoft.com/?id=246133 How To Transfer Logins and Passwords Between SQL Servers http://www.support.microsoft.com/?id=298897 Mapping Logins & SIDs after a Restore http://www.dbmaint.com/SyncSqlLogins.asp Utility to map logins to users http://www.support.microsoft.com/?id=168001 User Logon and/or Permission Errors After Restoring Dump http://www.support.microsoft.com/?id=240872 How to Resolve Permission Issues When a Database Is Moved Between SQL Servers http://www.sqlservercentral.com/scri...ptdetails.asp? scriptid=599 Restoring a .mdf http://www.support.microsoft.com/?id=307775 Disaster Recovery Articles for SQL Server -- Andrew J. Jeff, I thought you had SQL 2000 not 7.0. I don't know for sure if 7.0 EE can be installed on 2KServer. My guess would be no and the error seems to support that. I don't have 7.0 BOL anymore but what does it say in the Maximum Capacity Specs sections? -- Andrew J.
