Also,

keep in mind that you should not use an administrator
account to run the SQL Server service as, because that
will give a potentially hacker to much access.

Hi

Check out what the SQLServer service is running as, using
the Services
applet, and if necessary change the details.

Hi,
I have two servers. The domain and my database server.
I
have installed SQL Server on my DB Server, and was
logged
in using the domain administrator. When I change the
password for the domain admin. I cannot start the SQL
Server. It was installed using the standard
installation
and mixed modus. Can anyone tell me why this is ?

I thought the SQL Server would use my administrator
password. Until now I have had the SQL Server on my
laptop to learn.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Peter Gavin
