Hi -

I have several instances of SQL 2k I'm trying to analyze. They were all
installed (by others) without the client tools (Ent Mgr, etc.). Evidently,
they don't have the SQL Server performance counters, because when I try and
find some of them through PerfMon, I only see the OS counters - and no
reference at all to the SQL Server counters I'm familar with (even in SQL 2k).

q1: Is this expected behavior if client tools weren't installed ?

q2: Is there an easy way to go back and JUST install the relevant
performance counters on these instances ? If so, where might I find specific
directions ?
