I was attempting to install the MSDE that ships with VS.NET and i kept
getting it rolled back. The error message said it was:
InstallSQLAgentSecurity failed. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas as to
what might be wrong?

Below error usually indicates that you do not have your File and Print
Services
activated which is required fro MSDE installation.
Go to Services and Start server then try the installation again. Let us
know. Thanks.
