I've setup a deployment for my application with MSDE using the 'MSDE Deployment Toolkit (RC)'. The deployment has been working semi-fine, but lately, it is ending with the following error after the application is installed in step 2: 'An Error Occurred Running Step 2: 0'. I can reproduce this on every PC I try to install it on (WinXP, Win2000). The error is coming from the toolkit installer/bootstrap and not my custom installer.

The application and MSDE install fine, but I'd like to get rid of the error message so my users don't see it. Any suggestions or is there a way to turn on logging from the toolkit installer to get more information about where this error is coming from?
