Default MS white paper - best practices? - 02-08-2005 , 09:09 AM

I'm spec'ing a standard SQL 2000 configuration for our group of 12
(individual) SQL servers. Does anyone know of a "best practices" for
server/software installation? MS did a nice job with white papers for
installing IIS, e.g.,

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/arc.../iis50srg.mspx

I was wishing for something similar as I set standards for this group of SQL
servers.

Thanks All

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro...0/default.mspx

is the link to all the SQL Server White Papers and guides. Probably the most
useful to you is the operations guide:
