Default Microsoft support for SQL 2005 x64 on Windows 2003 R2 Ent. x64 - 03-15-2010 , 03:38 PM

Hello,

Does Microsoft officilaly support SQL 2005 Ent. w/SP3 x64 on Windows 2003 R2
w/SP2 Ent. x64?

I had a look on the SQL 2005 Hardware & System requirements page and no
where do they list Windows 2003 R2.

As far as I am aware there is no difference in 2003 and the R2 editions
other than the components one can install using the 2nd DVD media provided
with the R2 editions.

Thanks,
Edgar
