I've got an SQL Server 2005 Sp2 where I have configured the "Loack pages in memory" option (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms190730.aspx). When I now look at memory usage in task manager the sqlsrv.exe process consumes about 200000k of memory. But when I look in performance monitor, with the "Target Server Memory" counter and "Total Server Memory" Counter, I've got 21505024KB allocated, and this is the same as I've configured as max memory in the SQL Server. Why this discrepency? |
