Default master database name - 09-22-2006 , 12:21 PM

On SQL Server 2000 and 2005 is the name of master database always lowercase?
(on all type of collation)

As far as I am aware, the master database name is lowercase.

Hi,

master database is created by the SQL Server setup program and it always
create with lowercase name. But incase if you
restore the master database manually then the name will be based on what to
give.

Thanks
