Default low memory usage - SQL 2000 with AWE, PAE and /3GB - 04-23-2007 , 04:28 AM





Hi
I have server with OS Win2003 SP1 Enterprisde edition,
SQL serevr 2000 SP4 Ent.edt. with 8 GB RAM.
In boot ini /3GB /PAE
AWE enabled on SQL.

I set memory setting on SQL Min to 6143 MB , SQL Max memory to 6144 MB,
but mem usage of SQL service /sqlservr.exe / is only 128 MB.
HW is PAE compatible.

Whew is a problem ?
