I have a 2003 Server that has both a 32bit and 64bit SQL version installed. I downloaded and installed KB955706 updates for the 32bit and 64bit versions from the download center and they both install without error. Windows Update continues to attempt to downlaod and install the KB955706 update which always fails even though the updates have installed correctly when run manually. Is there anyway to stop Windows Update from trying to install the update. |

But what you could try is to change the setting for Windows Update to either "Notify but don't download", "Download, notify but do not install", and then decline the update. -- Erland Sommarskog, SQL Server MVP, esquel (AT) sommarskog (DOT) se Links for SQL Server Books Online: SQL 2008: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/sqlserver/cc514207.aspx SQL 2005: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/sqlserver/bb895970.aspx SQL 2000: http://www.microsoft.com/sql/prodinf...ons/books.mspx . |
