Hi,

I'm trying to install SQL 2008 Developer Version in my PC. I passed the the
Setup Support Rules. Then when it starts the installation, accept the
licence's terms start the Setup Support Files process I got the "Setup has
encountered an error" and the window to notify the error shows up. What do
I do? Help, Please.

In "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Setup Bootstrap\Log" you
should find log files for the setup. These log files are very verbose, and
by no means easy to read. But at least it's a start.
