Default Install SQL Server 2008 Developer Edition via AD GPO - 09-25-2009 , 08:17 AM

Is it possible to remotely deploy SQL Server 2008 Developer Edition to XP x64
workstations via Active Directory's GPO?

If you are thinking of unattended installation, then, you can deploy SQL
Server 2008 via Active Directory. I just think it's not recommended even if
it is just the Developer Edition. If there are a lot of workstations
involved, I'd simply create an image that can be deployed with the
workstation
