I've just installed SQL Server 2008 onto Windows 7 as a clean installation
and when I open a table to view the data, the icons from the Query Designer
are all inactive. Does anyone know why? Have I missed something in the setup?

Previously, using SQL 200 then SQL 2005 had no problems (all clean installs
in clean Windows installations. That was all a few years ago so that's why I
am wondering if I've missed part of the configuration process.
