Default How to fix SQL 2005? - 12-29-2009 , 02:20 PM

I used SQL developer edition in my pc.
By accident, I deleted some files in installed folder.
Now, I can not open management studio.
I tried to re-install it, but keep on telling me that components are already
installed.
How to fix it without uninstall it?

Hm, a good setup should have a Repair option, but the SQL 2005 Setup
may not have one. You could try using Add/Remove Programs and use
Change and see if this helps.

Actually, the SQL 2005 installer does have a decent repair option. However
it will leave the install at RTM. You will need to reapply any service
packs or cumulative updates after the repair.
