Hi,

I downloaded the 2 CD set and three times now have tried the install.

It fails with a message saying sqlncli.msi is missing and also twice with
the message "An installation package for the product Microsoft SQL Server
Native Client cannot be found - this is during the CD1 phase of the process.
Several core components then fail to install.

BTW: The CD's are MSDN Subscriber Download CD's.
