Default Enterprise manager shows no items. - 11-27-2005 , 11:57 PM

Hi, I've just installed SQL Server. The Query analyzer works fine showing all
the objects in the server group but the Enterprise manager takes a very long
time to load then displays a server group but with no items in it. There are
definitely databases in there (Northwind at least) so why do they not display.

Thanks very much for any thoughts on this

Regards
Ant

If the group is empty maybe there is no registered servers. You do not see
the databases or you do not see the server?

If you do not see the server, right-click the group, select New SQL Server
Registration and specify the properties of your server like server name and
authentication method.

Hope this helps,

Thank you Ben, you were right, there were no registered servers. You answered
my question.

Thank you
