Hi All,

I tried installing SQL Server tools 7.0 in my NT4.0 machine.
The dac.exe was not found in C:\WinNT\System32\dac.exe
I found DtcSetup.exe, i installed it manually... I got dac.exe placed
in c:\WinNT\System32
The shortcut (MSDTC Admin Console) in start menu pointing to dac.exe
works fine in this case.


Now i try installing the same on an XP machine, here too i can't find
dac.exe, i tried to install DtcSetup.exe found in C:\WinXP\System32 but
it does not add files dac.exe in system32 folder. Though in event log
it shows my DTC services is been successfully started.
I want the shortcut (MSDTC Admin Console) in start menu to open up the
Console window.
Can i not get dac.exe intalled in XP..?

How to handle this..
